PU Wheels, Rods, Sheets & Tubes

PU Wheels/ PU Rod/ PU sheet

Polyurethane Stock Shapes & Heavy Duty Wheels

We have several types of Wheel, Rods, Sheets and Tubes as a Standard product, manufactured from quality Polyurethane Elastomer, capable of performance superior to metal, plastic, rubber and other conventional Elastomers.

1. Polyurethane (PU) Wheels

PU (polyurethane) wheels are durable, floor-protective rollers offering high load capacity, quiet movement, and chemical resistance. They are widely used for industrial trolleys, heavy furniture, material handling equipment, and carts.

A Polyurethane (PU) industrial wheel combines the high elasticity of rubber with the high load capacity of metal. Standard sizes range from 3 to 8 inches with load limits between 80 kg to over 2,000 kg, typically featuring a red or black PU tread cast over a cast-iron, aluminum, or steel core.

Key Advantages

Specification / Parameter Details & Capabilities
Non-MarkingProtects epoxy, concrete, and tile warehouse floors from scuffs.
Floor Protection & QuietAbsorbs shocks and rolls silently compared to hard steel or nylon wheels.
Chemical ResistantResists oils, greases, solvents, and minor acids.
High Load CapacitySupports heavy loads without permanent flat-spotting or deforming.

2. PU Sheets

Polyurethane Sheets are widely used in various industries for material handling, considering their non-marking and excellent abrasion resistance. Also they can be used as liners in various applications. Thicknesses from 5mm to 100mm can be supplied in various colours.

3. PU Rods

Rods are used to make bushes in engineering industries as well as strippers in the tool and die and metal stamping industries. Also one can cut washers, seals and insulators, wheels and rollers of various sizes.

4. PU Tubes

Polyurethane Tubes can be used as tubular springs in environments where corrosion, vibrations and magnetism prevent the use of conventional steel. Uses include punching, stamping and drawing dies, where the resilience of the urethane has distinct advantages over alternative materials as a spring with PU's elastomeric memory. Other Tube uses include roller covers, spacers, gaskets, pinch strippers, etc.
